TEACHER

Maya is an integrative yoga teacher that weaves together different therapeutic methods and techniques of yoga, meditation, breathwork, and body work.

Over the years, her classes and private sessions have evolved to be more precise in how they apply the different tools available to us to support our bodies, and minds, the nervous system and our emotional well-being.

Her focus in the last decade has been on supporting women, as well as more specifically looking at the unique experience that women go through emotionally and physically as they transition through pregnancy into motherhood.

MOTHER

When Maya became a mother she experienced a big shift in herself as well as her work. Since having her daughter six years ago, she started seeing her yoga practice through a different lens. In many ways, motherhood became her main practice - with all the challenges and opportunities to meet herself and ultimately grow her awareness and clarity in who she was becoming.

Her children are daily reminders that it is in our hands to choose how we show up every single day.

Maya’s podcast - We Are Mothers - is a reflection of the thread that connects mothers and also highlights the unique journey that each woman goes through.

SPACE-HOLDER

Over the last decade, Maya has opened two different community wellness spaces in Tel Aviv where people are invited to come and meet themselves and others in the most authentic way.

Putting aside the deep impact that yoga and other practices can have, Maya believes that the real impact of these experiences come from how comfortable we are to land in our bodies, to surrender into the experience and enter the deeper layers of the self.

With everyone she works with, she strives to hold a safe space of compassion, kindness and warmth - where you will have the experience of feeling seen and deeply listened to.

LIFE DOULA

In recent years, Maya has been guiding other women through important life transitions and personal transformations.

Through workshops and individual sessions, her intention is to support others to cultivate a richer interior life, a more balanced nervous system and clarity of mind with the intention of living a fuller life outside of the work on the mat.

Maya has a passion and curiosity to explore the experience of the inner world both during transformative periods as well as in the day to day routines of life.
